Terms & Conditions for UK Travels

Welcome to UK Travels. By booking a tour with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms ensure transparency and safety for our pilgrims and travelers.

1. Legal Identity

UK Travels is a private travel agency based in Kashipur, Uttarakhand.

2. Booking & Payment Policy

• Initial Deposit: A minimum deposit of 25% of the total package cost is required to confirm a booking.
• Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be cleared at least 15 days prior to the travel date.
• Inclusions: Only the services explicitly mentioned in your itinerary (Transport, Hotels, Meals) are included. Any personal expenses or entry fees are to be paid directly by the client.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change. Our refund policy is as follows:

• 30+ days before departure: 90% refund of the total package cost.
• 15 to 30 days before departure: 50% refund of the total package cost.
• Less than 15 days before departure: No refund will be provided.
• Helicopter Bookings: Refunds for helicopter tickets are subject to the specific airline’s policy and weather conditions.

4. Itinerary Changes & Natural Calamities

The Himalayan terrain is subject to unpredictable weather and landslides.

• UK Travels reserves the right to modify itineraries in the interest of safety.
• We are not liable for additional costs arising from delays due to natural disasters, roadblocks, or political strikes. These must be borne by the client on the spot.

5. Health & Documentation

• All pilgrims must be physically fit for high-altitude travel.
• It is the client’s responsibility to provide valid Government ID (Aadhar/Voter ID) for Biometric Registration and hotel check-ins.

6. Limitation of Liability

UK Travels acts as an intermediary between clients and service providers (hotels, transport). While we strive for excellence, we are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person or property during the tour.

7. Governing Law

Any disputes arising out of these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Kashipur/Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand.
